Goan Salahd Bhaji

This is an authentic traditional Goan Breakfast dish, that is served in all Goan homes as well as local restaurants, made using onions and tomatoes. It is served with Pao (Goan Bread). There is a local restaurant near my home in Goa, which serves the best salahd/ Salad bhaji I have eaten, and it is a must have dish for me whenever I’m on vacation in Goa.

It’s really so simple and easy to make. The ingredients for this dish are almost always available in the every kitchen. So if you have the necessary ingredients to make the dish, then do give it a try for your next breakfast or brunch.

My husband really enjoys cooking this dish and It’s always amazes me that such humble ingredients made with loads of love makes the most tastiest breakfast dish.
